What is Blue Lotus Counselling Online?
Blue Lotus Online Counselling provides emotional first-aid and ongoing compassionate listening and feedback enabling you to discuss easily your emotional pain and emotional needs in a discreet and convenient way. In a secure online environment you can talk to me from your home, your car, your workplace or a friend’s house.
 
The advantage of doing online counselling is that appointments are available to suit your schedule. Because Blue Lotus is an international online counselling service I can provide appointments to suit you including nights. Talk to me from wherever you are. You do not have to travel to get to your appointment.

What do I need to connect to a counselling session?
The most convenient platform for us to use is Skype. However, other platforms are available. For example, for Apple users we can utilise FaceTime. Other platforms are also available subject to discussion and agreement.
 
You will require a reliable internet connection utilising a minimum of 3G connectivity. Optic Fibre or ADSL2 speeds are preferred.
 
iPad and iPhone or Android devices can be used as long as they have Skype or another agreed platform installed and are utilising either a 3G or 4G connection or a faster Wifi service.
 

What does outreach counselling mean?
Outreach counselling means that I come to you. This may be at your office or your home or at another agreed upon venue. It is important that the venue chosen be one where we cannot be overheard or interrupted.
 

How do I pay for a session?
Payment is made via Credit Card/PayPal through the Book a Session page on this website. You can also deposit funds directly to an account. Please refer to the payment page. At this stage this applies to both online and outreach sessions. 
 

Are counselling sessions only conducted in English?
Yes, counselling sessions can only be conducted in English.
 

Can I claim a rebate through Medicare?
No, Medicare rebates are not available for online counselling.
